Browns – London Fashion Week

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] To celebrate the collaboration between London luxury boutique Browns Fashion and New York fashion designer Michael Halpern, whose London-based Halpern label is known for being a ‘cavalcade of sequins and colour’, at the AW18 London Fashion Week, Hello Flamingo were brought in to manufacture a series of incredible window displays for the Browns Fashion boutique on South Molton Street, London. [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="25px"][vc_column_text] The five windows, designed by Browns Fashion, were filled with faceted glass panels and shapes, piles of mirror balls in various sizes, a giant 1m diameter ball, red illuminated balls and illuminated red lightbox stands for mannequins. The multi-faceted mirror back wall window had a red neon sign reading ‘AFTER MIDNIGHT’, which reflected in the mirror to give an infinite effect. Following the much-anticipated Halpern show, Browns Fashion threw a Halpern x Browns aftershow party at the Five Guys restaurant on London’s Tottenham Court Road. Oasis – Make a Splash

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Oasis Fashion collaborated with the team at Petra Storrs, a creative design and art direction company, who designed their SS18 campaign, which had the tagline ‘Make a Splash’. [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="25px"][vc_column_text] Taking inspiration from their photoshoot, Petra Storrs approached Hello Flamingo to turn their designs in to a reality for the Oasis one-day press event at Nine Adam Street, London. The Hello Flamingo in-house production team created a number of incredible bespoke props for the event. A life-sized whales tail, hand carved from polystyrene, was fibre glass coated and covered in a silver holographic fabric, with holographic sequin barnacles. The tail popped out of the floor with a bespoke formed acrylic water splash and matched perfectly to the floor graphic which included an image of the rest of the whale. A giant anchor, also covered in holographic fabric with sequin barnacles and acrylic splashes, held a prop chain which worked as a rail to showcase garments...

Laura Ashley – AW16

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Hello Flamingo were asked to transform the Laura Ashley Head Office in Fulham this week for their AW16 press event in June 2016. [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="25px"][vc_column_text] The brief was to transform 5 rooms for their Home and Fashion ranges. The fashion room took inspiration from a design/textile studio with draped walls, floating clothes rails, free standing white PVC panels and a huge ‘mannequin army’ triangular plinth. The Home room was inspired by an art exhibition space with draped walls, free standing panels at 2.8m H which created room dividers which had panels with wallpapers and paint colour for the coming season. Light trays were built to suspend Laura Ashley lighting. The market rooms were beautifully dressed and lit with all the new season products. The hallway was filled with real birch trees to create an Autumnal walkway. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]...

White Stuff – AW16

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Hello Flamingo were so excited to work with the creative team at White Stuff for their AW16 press event, held in the Emin Suite at 34, an exclusive restaurant in London’s Mayfair. [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="25px"][vc_column_text] Hello Flamingo were presented with moodboards by the client for the event, which included weather imagery, such as rain clouds and lightning. The brief was to recreate the weather as sculptures and create an art installation – which was very fitting, as the event was held in a room named after artist Tracey Emin. The bespoke props (up to 700mm wide) were sculpted by the Hello Flamingo team from chicken wire and sprayed to match the season’s colour palette. These were then attached to bases and used as a table centre, which was the focal point of the room. We loved the final effect, it was so eye-catching! [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]...
